Stickball has been a vital part of Choctaws.
This game is know as "Little Brother of War" because in the old
days most games were played between different villages or against
neighboring tribes to settle difference without going to war. Now in
present time, The World Series of Stickball is played during the Green
Corn Festival also know as "The Choctaw Indian Fair".
During the fair each team has about 75-100 players on their team. There
are many teams that participate in this World Serires in which they are:
Conehatta - royal blue
Unified - forest green
Tucker - green
Warriors - maroon
Standing Pine - yellow
Bogue Chitto - white/red
Red Water - red
Pearl River - navy blue

This game is vicious and bruising, many players have suffered broken bones when they are hit or tackled.
